Wings

In space and astronautical engineering, wings refer to the structures that generate lift and enable an aircraft or spacecraft to fly. Wings are typically designed to produce lift by creating a pressure difference between the upper and lower surfaces of the wing. This pressure difference generates an upward force that counteracts the weight of the aircraft or spacecraft, allowing it to stay aloft. In spaceflight, wings are often used to provide lift during atmospheric flight, such as during launch and re-entry. They can also be used to control the orientation and trajectory of a spacecraft during flight. Wing design is a critical aspect of spacecraft and aircraft engineering, as it affects the performance, stability, and safety of the vehicle.
