Launch

Launch is the process of propelling a spacecraft or a rocket from the surface of the Earth or another celestial body into space. It involves a series of complex operations, including the ignition of the rocket engines, the release of the clamps or hold-downs that keep the vehicle in place, and the guidance and control of the vehicle during ascent. Launch can be achieved by various means, such as vertical takeoff, horizontal takeoff, or air launch. The success of a launch depends on many factors, including the design and performance of the launch vehicle, the payload it carries, the launch site and weather conditions, and the expertise of the launch team.
