Space Shuttle
Space Shuttle is a reusable spacecraft designed to carry astronauts and cargo into space. It consists of three main components: the orbiter, the external tank, and the solid rocket boosters. The orbiter is the crew cabin and the payload bay, where the astronauts and cargo are housed. The external tank contains the liquid hydrogen and oxygen that fuel the orbiter's main engines. The solid rocket boosters provide additional thrust during liftoff. The Space Shuttle was operated by NASA from 1981 to 2011, completing 135 missions. It was used to launch and repair satellites, conduct scientific experiments, and assemble and service the International Space Station.
