NASA


NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) is a United States government agency responsible for the nation's civilian space program and for aeronautics and aerospace research. NASA was established in 1958, succeeding the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics (NACA). NASA conducts research, develops technology, launches missions, and operates spacecraft and the International Space Station (ISS). NASA's missions include studying Earth, exploring the solar system and beyond, and developing new technologies for space exploration. NASA has also played a key role in advancing aeronautics and aviation technology, including the development of supersonic flight and the design of more efficient aircraft.
