NASDA
NASDA (National Space Development Agency) was the Japanese space agency from 1969 to 2003. It was responsible for the development of satellites, launch vehicles, and other space technologies. NASDA was merged with two other organizations to form the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) in 2003. During its existence, NASDA launched a number of successful missions, including the Hiten lunar orbiter, the Nozomi Mars orbiter, and the Hayabusa asteroid sample return mission. NASDA also collaborated with other space agencies, such as NASA and ESA, on various projects.
