Calcium

Calcium is a chemical element with the symbol Ca and atomic number 20. It is a soft gray alkaline earth metal that is essential for life. Calcium is the most abundant mineral in the human body and is necessary for the formation and maintenance of strong bones and teeth. In space and astronautical engineering, calcium is used in the production of certain types of rocket fuel, such as calcium silicide, which is used in solid-fuel rockets. Calcium is also used in the construction of spacecraft and satellites, as it is a lightweight and strong material that can withstand the harsh conditions of space. Additionally, calcium is used in the production of solar cells, which are used to generate electricity on spacecraft and satellites.
