Saturn

Saturn is the sixth planet from the Sun and the second-largest in the Solar System, after Jupiter. It is a gas giant with an average radius about nine times that of Earth. Saturn is known for its prominent and extensive ring system, which consists of nine continuous main rings and three discontinuous arcs. The rings are composed mostly of ice particles with a smaller amount of rocky debris and dust. Saturn has at least 82 moons, including the largest one, Titan, which is the only moon in the Solar System with a substantial atmosphere. Saturn's atmosphere is mostly composed of hydrogen with traces of helium and other elements. The planet has strong winds and a hexagonal-shaped jet stream at its north pole. Saturn has been visited by several spacecraft, including Pioneer 11, Voyager 1 and 2, and the Cassini-Huygens mission, which orbited the planet from 2004 to 2017.
