Radio Waves

Radio waves are a type of electromagnetic radiation with wavelengths ranging from about 1 millimeter to 100 kilometers. They are used in various applications in space and astronautical engineering, including communication, navigation, and remote sensing. Radio waves are used to transmit information from spacecraft to Earth, and vice versa, as well as between spacecraft. They are also used for radar systems to detect and track objects in space, such as asteroids and other celestial bodies. In addition, radio waves are used for remote sensing of the Earth's surface, atmosphere, and oceans, providing valuable data for weather forecasting, climate monitoring, and environmental studies.
