Combustion Process

Combustion process is the chemical reaction between a fuel and an oxidant that produces heat, light, and various combustion products. In space and astronautical engineering, combustion process is crucial for rocket propulsion systems. The combustion process occurs in the combustion chamber of a rocket engine, where fuel and oxidizer are mixed and ignited to produce hot gases that are expelled through a nozzle to generate thrust. The efficiency and performance of a rocket engine depend on the combustion process, which is affected by factors such as fuel type, oxidizer type, mixture ratio, combustion stability, and combustion efficiency.
