Tornado

In space and astronautical engineering, a tornado refers to a type of flow instability that can occur in rocket engines. It is a phenomenon where the combustion gases in the engine's combustion chamber begin to rotate in a circular motion, causing a decrease in thrust and potentially damaging the engine. Tornadoes can be caused by a variety of factors, including the design of the engine, the fuel mixture, and the operating conditions. Engineers must carefully design and test rocket engines to prevent tornadoes from occurring, as they can be a serious safety hazard.
