Thermal Equilibrium
Thermal Equilibrium is a state in which two or more objects are at the same temperature and there is no net flow of heat between them. In space and astronautical engineering, thermal equilibrium is an important concept in designing spacecraft and space suits. The extreme temperatures in space can cause serious damage to equipment and humans, and therefore, maintaining thermal equilibrium is crucial. This is achieved through the use of insulation, radiators, and temperature control systems. Thermal equilibrium is also important in the study of planetary atmospheres and the behavior of gases in space.
