Spacesuit Design

Spacesuit design is the process of creating specialized garments that allow astronauts to survive and work in the harsh environment of space. Spacesuits must provide a pressurized atmosphere, temperature regulation, oxygen supply, waste management, and protection from radiation and micrometeoroids. The design of a spacesuit involves a complex balance between mobility, durability, and safety. Spacesuits are typically custom-made for each astronaut and must be able to accommodate a wide range of body sizes and shapes. The design process involves extensive testing and evaluation to ensure that the spacesuit can withstand the rigors of spaceflight and protect the astronaut from harm. Spacesuit design is an ongoing process, with new technologies and materials being developed to improve the performance and safety of spacesuits.
