Satellite Positioning Systems
Satellite Positioning Systems are a network of satellites that provide geolocation and time information to users on the ground, in the air, or in space. These systems use a combination of satellite signals and ground-based receivers to determine the precise location of a user's device. The most well-known satellite positioning system is the Global Positioning System (GPS), which is operated by the United States government.
