RNA Sequencing

RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) is a technique used to determine the sequence and abundance of RNA molecules in a biological sample. It involves converting RNA molecules into complementary DNA (cDNA) fragments, which are then sequenced using high-throughput sequencing technologies. RNA-seq can provide information on gene expression levels, alternative splicing events, and the presence of non-coding RNAs. It has become a powerful tool for studying gene regulation and identifying novel transcripts in various organisms, including those in space and astronautical engineering research.
