Positive Air Pressure

Positive air pressure is a condition in which the pressure inside a spacecraft or a space suit is greater than the pressure outside. This is achieved by pumping air into the spacecraft or the suit. Positive air pressure is necessary to maintain a breathable atmosphere inside the spacecraft or the suit, and to prevent the entry of harmful contaminants from the outside environment. Positive air pressure is also used to maintain the structural integrity of the spacecraft or the suit, by preventing the collapse of walls or joints due to the vacuum of space. In addition, positive air pressure is used to regulate the temperature inside the spacecraft or the suit, by circulating air and removing excess heat.
