Payload Integration

Payload Integration is the process of integrating a payload with the launch vehicle. It involves the physical and functional connection of the payload to the launch vehicle, as well as the testing and verification of the integrated system. Payload Integration includes the design and development of the payload adapter, which is the interface between the payload and the launch vehicle. The adapter must be designed to withstand the launch environment and to provide the necessary electrical, mechanical, and thermal connections between the payload and the launch vehicle. Payload Integration also includes the testing of the integrated system to ensure that it meets all requirements and is ready for launch.
