Mission To Planet Earth (MTPE)
Mission To Planet Earth (MTPE) was a NASA program that aimed to study the Earth's environment and global climate change from space. The program used a variety of satellites and instruments to collect data on the Earth's atmosphere, oceans, land surface, and biosphere. The data collected by MTPE helped scientists to better understand the Earth's climate system and how it is changing over time. The program also aimed to develop new technologies and methods for studying the Earth from space, which have since been used in other space missions. MTPE was active from 1992 to 2001.
