
Mesosphere
Mesosphere is a cloud operating system that abstracts the entire datacenter into a single pool of computing resources, simplifying the complexity of running distributed systems at scale. It provides a unified interface to manage and orchestrate containers, virtual machines, and bare metal infrastructure across private, public, and hybrid clouds. Mesosphere enables the deployment of distributed applications with high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability, by automating the placement, scaling, and recovery of workloads based on policies and constraints. It also provides a framework for building and running data-intensive and AI/ML workloads, by integrating with popular big data and machine learning frameworks, such as Apache Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and TensorFlow. Mesosphere is designed to optimize resource utilization, reduce operational costs, and increase developer productivity, by providing a self-service platform that abstracts away the underlying infrastructure and enables rapid iteration and experimentation.
