Maglev Technology
Maglev technology is a type of transportation system that uses magnetic levitation to suspend, guide and propel vehicles without the need for wheels or tracks. In this system, the vehicle is lifted and propelled by powerful magnets that create a magnetic field between the vehicle and the guideway. The absence of friction between the vehicle and the guideway allows for high speeds and a smooth ride. Maglev technology has potential applications in space and astronautical engineering, such as launching payloads into space using maglev launchers or using maglev trains to transport astronauts and equipment around a space station.
