ISO 14644-1

ISO 14644-1 is a standard that specifies the classification of air cleanliness in cleanrooms and associated controlled environments. It provides a classification system based on the concentration of airborne particles in the cleanroom. The standard defines the maximum allowable number of particles per cubic meter of air, for each particle size range, in order to maintain a clean environment. ISO 14644-1 also provides guidelines for the monitoring and testing of cleanrooms, as well as the design, construction, and operation of cleanroom facilities. The standard is used in various industries, including aerospace, pharmaceuticals, and electronics, where a clean environment is critical to the manufacturing process.
