Frictionless Environment
Frictionless environment refers to a space environment where there is no air resistance or drag force acting on a spacecraft or any object in motion. In such an environment, objects can move without any external force acting on them, and their motion can be predicted accurately using the laws of physics. Frictionless environment is an ideal condition for space missions, as it allows spacecraft to conserve fuel and travel longer distances without the need for frequent course corrections. However, achieving a frictionless environment is not possible on Earth due to the presence of air and other atmospheric gases. Therefore, space missions are conducted in a vacuum environment, such as in low Earth orbit or deep space, where the effects of air resistance are negligible.
