Fiber Optic Line


A fiber optic line is a communication cable consisting of one or more optical fibers that are used to transmit digital signals. The optical fibers are made of glass or plastic and use light to transmit data over long distances. Fiber optic lines are used in space and astronautical engineering to transmit data between spacecraft and ground stations, as well as between different spacecraft in space. They are also used in satellite communication systems to transmit television signals, telephone calls, and internet data. Fiber optic lines have several advantages over traditional copper cables, including higher bandwidth, faster data transfer rates, and immunity to electromagnetic interference. However, they are more expensive to install and maintain than copper cables.
