Europa

Europa's surface is covered in a layer of ice, which is thought to be around 10 kilometers thick, and is marked by fractures, ridges, and chaotic terrain. The study of Europa involves the use of spacecraft to explore its surface and subsurface, as well as the development of technologies to penetrate the ice and search for signs of life.
