Enrichment
Enrichment is the process of increasing the concentration of a particular isotope in a material, typically uranium, to make it suitable for use as fuel in nuclear reactors. The most common method of enrichment is through the use of centrifuges, which spin the uranium gas at high speeds to separate the isotopes based on their weight. Enrichment can also refer to the process of adding additional propellant or oxidizer to a rocket fuel mixture to increase its performance. This is typically done by injecting the additional material into the combustion chamber or nozzle of the rocket engine.
