Digital System

A digital system is a system that uses discrete values to represent information. In the context of space and astronautical engineering, digital systems are used extensively in spacecraft and satellites for communication, navigation, and control. Digital systems are preferred over analog systems because they are more reliable, easier to design and maintain, and can be easily integrated with other digital systems. Digital systems in space and astronautical engineering include digital signal processing, digital communication systems, digital control systems, and digital navigation systems. These systems use digital circuits, microprocessors, and software to process and transmit information. Digital systems are also used in space exploration missions to process and analyze data from scientific instruments and sensors.
