Dark Energy

Dark Energy is a hypothetical form of energy that is believed to permeate all of space and is responsible for the accelerating expansion of the universe. It is thought to make up about 68% of the total energy density of the universe. Dark Energy is a mysterious force that is not directly observable, but its existence is inferred from the observed cosmic microwave background radiation and the large-scale structure of the universe. The nature of Dark Energy is still not well understood, and it is one of the biggest mysteries in modern physics and cosmology.
