Cross-Polarization
In the context of aerospace engineering, cross-polarization refers to the phenomenon where the polarization of an electromagnetic wave is altered as it passes through a medium or is reflected, refracted or diffracted. These include the use of cross-polarization discrimination (XPD) techniques, polarization-agnostic antenna designs, and advanced signal processing algorithms.
