COSPAR


The Committee on Space Research (COSPAR) is an international scientific organization that promotes space research and exploration. It was established by the International Council for Science (ICSU) in 1958, and its mission is to promote international cooperation and interdisciplinary research in space science and technology. COSPAR provides a forum for scientists and engineers to exchange information and ideas, and it also coordinates international space missions and experiments. The organization is composed of national scientific institutions and international scientific unions, and it holds scientific assemblies every two years to discuss the latest research in space science and technology.
