Command Systems

Command systems refer to the set of hardware and software components that enable the control and management of spacecraft and their subsystems. These systems are responsible for executing commands sent from the ground to the spacecraft, as well as for monitoring the health and status of the spacecraft and its instruments. Command systems typically include a command and data handling unit, which processes and stores commands and telemetry data, as well as a set of communication interfaces for transmitting and receiving data to and from the spacecraft. Additionally, command systems may include fault protection mechanisms, such as redundancy and error detection and correction, to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the spacecraft.
