WOCE
WOCE (World Ocean Circulation Experiment) was a research program that aimed to study the global ocean circulation and its role in climate. The program was conducted from 1990 to 2002 and involved the collaboration of scientists from over 30 countries. WOCE used a variety of tools and techniques, including satellite observations, moored buoys, and research vessels, to collect data on ocean currents, temperature, salinity, and other properties.
