Voltammogram
A voltammogram is a plot of the current versus the applied potential in an electrochemical cell. It is used to study the redox behavior of a species in solution and to determine the electrochemical properties of the system. The voltammogram can provide information about the kinetics of the electron transfer reaction, the diffusion coefficient of the species, and the stability of the electrochemical system. The shape of the voltammogram can also be used to identify the type of electrochemical reaction that is occurring, such as a reversible or irreversible reaction. Voltammetry is a widely used technique in the field of electrochemistry and is used in many applications, including corrosion studies, battery research, and sensor development.
