Turbojet

Turbojet is a type of air-breathing jet engine that operates on the Brayton cycle. It consists of a compressor, a combustion chamber, and a turbine. The compressor takes in air, compresses it, and feeds it to the combustion chamber where fuel is added and ignited. The resulting hot gases expand through the turbine, which powers the compressor and the engine's accessories. Turbojets are used in aircraft propulsion, where they provide high thrust at high speeds, but are less efficient at low speeds and altitudes. They are also used in cruise missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
