Radio Navigation


Radio Navigation is the use of radio waves to determine the position, velocity, and direction of a vehicle or object in space. It involves the use of radio signals transmitted from ground-based or satellite-based transmitters to a receiver on the vehicle or object. The receiver measures the time delay between the transmission and reception of the signal to determine the distance to the transmitter. By receiving signals from multiple transmitters, the receiver can determine its position through triangulation. Radio Navigation is an essential technology for spacecraft and satellites, as it allows them to navigate in space and maintain their orbits. It is also used in ground-based navigation systems, such as GPS, which rely on a network of satellites to provide accurate positioning information.
