Propellant Transfer

Propellant transfer is the process of transferring fuel or oxidizer from one spacecraft to another. This process is essential for long-duration space missions, as it allows spacecraft to refuel and extend their operational lifetimes. Propellant transfer can be accomplished through a variety of methods, including docking and berthing, fluid transfer systems, and robotic arms. The ability to transfer propellant in space also enables the assembly of large structures, such as space stations and interplanetary vehicles, in orbit. Propellant transfer technology is critical for future space exploration missions, including crewed missions to Mars and beyond.
