Nozzles


In space and astronautical engineering, a nozzle is a device designed to control the direction or characteristics of a fluid flow (especially gases) as it exits an enclosed chamber or pipe. Nozzles are commonly used in rocket engines to accelerate and direct the exhaust gases produced by the combustion of propellants.
