Neutron Radiography
Neutron radiography is a non-destructive testing technique that uses neutrons to create images of the internal structure of an object. It is particularly useful for imaging the interior of dense objects, such as those made of metal or high-density plastics, where X-rays may not penetrate sufficiently. Neutron radiography works by passing a beam of neutrons through the object being imaged, and then capturing the neutrons that pass through the object on a detector. The resulting image shows the distribution of neutron attenuation within the object, which can be used to identify defects or voids within the material.
