NCDC
The National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) Data Catalog (NCDC) is a comprehensive archive of meteorological and oceanographic observations, operational and reanalysis model outputs, and remote sensing data. The NCDC provides access to a wide range of data types, including surface, upper-air, and satellite observations, as well as model output data from global and regional numerical weather prediction models. The NCDC also provides access to derived data products, such as gridded analyses of temperature and precipitation, and value-added products, such as quality-controlled and bias-corrected data. The NCDC is a valuable resource for researchers, operational forecasters, and decision makers in a variety of fields, including weather and climate research, agriculture, energy, transportation, and emergency management.
