Mosaic
Mosaic is a web browser that was developed by the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA) in the late 1980s and early 1990s. It was the first web browser that popularized the World Wide Web and made it accessible to the general public. Mosaic was the first browser to support images, text, and hyperlinks on a single page, which made it easier for users to navigate the web. It was also the first browser to support multiple platforms, including Windows, Macintosh, and Unix. Mosaic played a significant role in the growth of the internet and the development of the web as we know it today.
