Lunar Orbit Insertion

Lunar Orbit Insertion (LOI) is a crucial maneuver in which a spacecraft is inserted into the orbit around the Moon. This maneuver is performed after the spacecraft has completed its journey from the Earth to the Moon. The LOI maneuver requires precise calculations and adjustments to ensure that the spacecraft enters the correct orbit around the Moon. The spacecraft must also be oriented correctly to ensure that it enters the orbit in the correct direction and at the correct speed. Once the spacecraft is in lunar orbit, it can begin its scientific mission or prepare for a landing on the Moon.
