Java Servlet API

Java Servlet API is a set of classes and interfaces that provides a standard way to write web applications in Java. It defines the contract between a client and a server, where the client sends a request to the server and the server sends a response back to the client. The API provides a framework for handling HTTP requests and responses, managing sessions, and handling cookies. It also provides a way to dynamically generate web pages and serve them to clients. The Java Servlet API is used extensively in web application development, and is supported by most web servers and application servers.
