International Security

International Security is a subfield of astronautical engineering that deals with the security of space assets and the prevention of threats to space-based infrastructure. It involves the development and implementation of measures to protect satellites, spacecraft, and other space-based assets from physical and cyber attacks, as well as from natural phenomena such as solar flares and space debris. International Security also encompasses the regulation of space activities to prevent conflicts and ensure peaceful use of outer space. This includes the negotiation and enforcement of international treaties and agreements, as well as the development of international norms and standards for responsible behavior in space.
