Fusion Energy

Fusion energy is a type of energy that is produced by nuclear fusion reactions. It is the same process that powers the sun and other stars. In fusion reactions, two atomic nuclei are combined to form a heavier nucleus, releasing a large amount of energy in the process. The most promising fusion reaction for energy production is the fusion of two isotopes of hydrogen, deuterium and tritium. To achieve fusion, the fuel must be heated to extremely high temperatures and confined in a magnetic field. The energy released by fusion reactions can be used to generate electricity, with the advantage of producing no greenhouse gases or long-lived radioactive waste.
