ECLSS

ECLSS stands for Environmental Control and Life Support System. It is a system that provides and maintains a livable environment for humans in space. ECLSS is responsible for managing the atmosphere, temperature, and humidity of the spacecraft or space station, as well as providing clean water and removing waste. It also includes systems for controlling and removing carbon dioxide, managing fire and smoke, and providing backup systems in case of emergencies. ECLSS is critical for the success of long-duration space missions, as it ensures the health and safety of the crew by providing a habitable environment.
