Deep Space

Deep space refers to the vast, largely empty regions of space beyond the Earth's atmosphere and immediate surroundings. It is the area of space beyond low Earth orbit, typically starting at an altitude of 1,200 miles (2,000 kilometers) above the Earth's surface. Deep space exploration involves sending spacecraft to study and gather data on celestial bodies such as planets, moons, asteroids, and comets, as well as to study the properties of the universe itself. This field of engineering requires the development of advanced propulsion systems, communication technologies, and life support systems to enable long-duration missions in the harsh environment of deep space. Deep space missions also require careful planning and execution to ensure the safety of the crew and the success of the mission.
