Cooling System


Cooling system is a crucial component of any spacecraft that helps to maintain the temperature of the spacecraft and its equipment within acceptable limits. The cooling system is responsible for removing excess heat generated by the spacecraft's electronic systems, propulsion systems, and crew members. The cooling system works by circulating a coolant, such as water or a refrigerant, through a network of pipes and heat exchangers. The coolant absorbs heat from the spacecraft's equipment and transfers it to a radiator, where it is dissipated into space. The cooling system is designed to operate in the vacuum of space, where there is no air to conduct heat away from the spacecraft. The cooling system is also responsible for maintaining the temperature of the spacecraft's fuel and oxidizer tanks, which must be kept within a narrow temperature range to prevent them from exploding.
