Amplification
Amplification is the process of increasing the power of a signal by using an amplifier. In space and astronautical engineering, amplification is used to increase the strength of signals transmitted from spacecraft to Earth or from Earth to spacecraft. Amplifiers are used in communication systems, radar systems, and scientific instruments to improve the quality and reliability of data transmission. Amplification is also used in propulsion systems to increase the thrust of rockets and spacecraft. In addition, amplification is used in power systems to increase the voltage or current of electrical signals, which is necessary for powering various spacecraft subsystems.
