Wind Turbines

Wind turbines are devices that convert the kinetic energy of the wind into electrical power. They consist of a rotor, which is connected to a generator, and a tower that supports the rotor and the nacelle. The rotor blades are designed to capture the energy of the wind and turn the rotor, which in turn drives the generator to produce electricity. Wind turbines can be used for onshore and offshore applications, and they come in a variety of sizes, from small turbines that can power a single home to large wind farms that can generate electricity for entire communities. The efficiency of a wind turbine depends on several factors, including the wind speed, the size and design of the rotor blades, and the height of the tower.
