Spacecraft Power


Spacecraft Power refers to the generation, storage, and distribution of electrical power on a spacecraft. The power system must be designed to meet the energy demands of all spacecraft subsystems, including communication, propulsion, life support, and scientific instruments. The power source can be solar panels, nuclear reactors, fuel cells, or batteries. The power generated by the source is stored in batteries or capacitors, and then distributed to the subsystems through power management and distribution units. The power system must also be designed to operate in the harsh environment of space, including extreme temperatures, radiation, and vacuum. The reliability and efficiency of the power system are critical to the success of a space mission.
