Spacecraft Components
Spacecraft components are the individual parts that make up a spacecraft, including the structure, propulsion system, power system, communication system, thermal control system, and scientific instruments. The structure of a spacecraft provides the framework for all other components and must be designed to withstand the harsh conditions of space. The propulsion system is responsible for providing the necessary thrust to move the spacecraft through space. The power system provides electricity to all components and can be generated through solar panels, fuel cells, or nuclear power. The communication system allows the spacecraft to send and receive data and commands from Earth. The thermal control system regulates the temperature of the spacecraft and protects it from extreme heat and cold. Scientific instruments are used to collect data and perform experiments in space.
