Satellite Operations Control Center (SOCC)
Satellite Operations Control Center (SOCC) is a facility that is responsible for monitoring and controlling the operations of one or more satellites in space. The SOCC is staffed by a team of engineers and technicians who are responsible for ensuring that the satellite is functioning properly, monitoring its position and trajectory, and making any necessary adjustments to keep it on course. The SOCC is also responsible for communicating with the satellite, sending commands to it, and receiving data and telemetry from it. The SOCC is typically located on the ground, and may be operated by a government agency, a private company, or a consortium of organizations.
